As tennis clubs and fitness centers close (however, our Hunters Green and Feather Sound locations are still open) due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it’s still important to stay active and healthy. Exercising is a great way to alleviate stress and keep our immune systems strong as those around us continue to fall ill.
There are plenty of ways to exercise, without equipment, at home. Here are some ideas:
- Run around your neighborhood and track your distance and time using an app like Runkeeper
- Download the Nike Training Club app which offers a variety of different workouts
- Find workouts on YouTube
However, for those that play tennis, it can be a challenge to continue to practice in the midst of a quarantine; yet, you can still practice your shadow swings at home and watch tennis matches on Tennis Channel or Youtube.
Or, you can find creative ways to continue to play tennis as many people throughout the world have done. The following video shows one way people have continued to play tennis at home.
